Why RO-LINX Busbars?

Laminated Busbars

The Busbar Division of Rogers Corporation has consistently been a world leader in power distribution busbar systems since 1969. We are working with the leading manufacturers of computer systems, telecommunication equipment, industrial process control and automation cabinets. We are also largely involved with higher voltage applications in electric traction modules and propulsion systems for transportation, such as trains, metros, light rail vehicles and electric/hybrid cars.

Quality has always been a motto within the company and all busbars leaving the factory have been 100% tested against electrical specification, including a 100% production test on partial discharge when applicable. Our ISO certification goes back to 1992, initially ISO 9002 but since 1994 ISO 9001.

We work together with our customers on co-design, common test programs and long term contracts. Technically trained sales engineers and project engineers assist the customers worldwide. Languages are not a problem as most people within the organization speak and write English, French, German and Dutch. A few dedicated people also speak Italian and Spanish. The sales engineer and design team in Asia can serve you in Mandarin, Japanese, Korean and English.

The European factory is located in Gent, Belgium, within a short distance of major airports such as Brussels, Paris or Amsterdam and major harbours such as Antwerp or Rotterdam and on the cross roads of the highways leading everywhere to within Europe. The plant was expanded and completely renovated in 1998 and 1999, now in size over 4000 sq. meters of manufacturing area plus offices and stocking space. The machinery is state of the art equipment linked to CAD/CAM systems.

About 95% of all busbars made are exported into most European countries, the middle East, North America and other continents. Trading in foreign currencies has been common practice ever since the business was started.

The Asia factory is located in Suzhou, China, within 150KM of Shanghai airports and ports. The plant was built up in 2004, total space is more than 8000 sq. meter. Main Equipment, process, Material and Capability are exactly same as our European factory.Asia plant got ISO9001 certification in 2005 and ISO14001 in 2008.

The Asia factory covers Asia and North American region. Trading in foreign currencies has been common practice ever since the business was started.
