I first discovered PORON^® Cushioning insoles while I was in Japan on a business trip. I did a lot of walking, carrying my suitcase up and down stairs to get to trains, and walking several blocks to get to hotels or customers’ offices. I had a new pair of dress shoes (the only shoes I brought) and they were not breaking in well. After a few days, I was really hobbling around and my feet were hurting. Then a colleague gave me a pair of PORON insoles, so I put them in my shoes. It was immediate relief! Inserts made with PORON® Cushioning saved not only my running career, they saved my psychological well being. As a triathlete age grouper, my strength is catching up on the run leg. I am the president of an ice sculpting business and I'm on my feet all day sculpting. I put the PORON® Cushioning insoles in my work boots which I wear all day and my running shoes which I wear all the other times of the day. I wanted to let you know that I can really feel the difference at the end of the day. They are really comfortable and changed the way my shoes feel. Somehow, they feel a lot thicker than they really are. You can feel that cushion more than you would expect. They don't seem to want to pack down like most insoles do. They are staying spongy and soft which is great for a guy like me who's on his feet all day long. I sound like an infomercial…but seriously, I love em! Let me know when I can get some more!

This past summer, I had to give up my 4 to 5 mile walks because I was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis. I tried many insoles. Nothing seemed to help. At one point, I was padding my sneakers with up to 1/4 inch of gel material to cushion the pain.
